Orpheus Returns To Salem

DOOL spoilers previously teased Orpheus’ return. We saw that earlier this week and learned he is Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox’s (Brock Kelly) father. Although the two aren’t close, Evan always calls his dad when he gets into a sticky situation. That’s what brought Orpheus to Salem. However, that might not be the only reason, especially since he wants people to think he’s still dead.

DOOL Spoilers: Connected To Dr. Marlena Evans

It is revealed that a long time ago, Orpheus kidnapped Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and forced her to raise his children. One of those kids was Evan and now grown up, he recognized Marlena. However, she had no clue that she has a history with the young man.

Interesting Scene With Steve Johnson

Days of Our Lives spoilers from the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal Orpheus will run into Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols). It wasn’t made clear if it was the real Steve or if it was Stefano DiMera. However, DelHoyo did say it’s quite an interesting scene.

Steve and Orpheus have a long history together. They are not friends and Orpheus has targeted Steve, Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and their children before.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Salem Catastrophe Teased

In early November 2019, Ashford spoke to CBS Soaps In Depth. At the time, the interview was focused on Jack Deveraux getting his memory back and what that meant for Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). He said that would be a catastrophe in Salem. Ashford teased,

“The effect it has on these families! It’s like, they’ve all gotta wake up, get up, fall down, fall over, pull it together, don’t pull it together… Everyone has different choices about what to do.”

Supervillain Returns To Cause Salem Mayhem?

Previously, it was thought that Ashford was talking about Jennifer’s balcony tragedy and one-year coma. However, that really didn’t affect most Salemites. It also didn’t really result in many characters having to pull together or make different choices. We could be wrong about this, but it just seems like the “catastrophe” is something bigger.

Could the major catastrophe be tied to Orpheus’ return? He has always wanted revenge and has major beef with many characters. He also wouldn’t think twice about destroying the entire town of Salem. It seems unlikely that Orpheus’ only story is helping Evan avoid prison. There is more to it than that.
