Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Paul Telfer Teases Possible Romance Beween Xander And Gwen And More Trouble Ahead

Days of Our Lives spoilers say there’s a possibility that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) might be getting up close and personal with current Salem villainess Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Or at least that’s what the character’s portrayer, Paul Telfer, is teasing. Read on for all of the latest spoilers.

Speaking to Soap Hub in a new interview, Paul admits that Xander Cook’s life has definitely been a mess ever since Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) left town. It’s no secret that Xander’s life has been flipped upside down, as he’s been getting drunk more often, got married to Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) on a whim, and hooked up with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) in a rather bizarre move. And because he’s the kind of guy who always attracts drama, it only makes sense that his next move would be with Gwen, right?

Paul put it this way, “Xander’s typical, almost adolescent, reaction to things felt very much like I did when I was a teenager and had my heart broken, which was grab a bottle of vodka and go to the park. My hope was that as much as the way Sarah exited was a crazy over-the-top storyline, that at least the fallout of it, for Xander, could be played in a fun, semi-real way.”

Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Xander will try to help Gwen with his scheming ways. And while he’s used to doing the dirty work for a lot of people in this fictional town of Salem, helping Gwen might actually backfire on him.

Paul teased, “Xander is more than prepared to kill Snyder. He’s lashing out. He has a huge amount of darkness in him, right now, and he’s got this target in Snyder that he can unleash it all on. But Gwen’s interceding literally begging Xander not to do it, knowing that it would make things even worse. It only forces them closer together.”

Seeing how someone is supposed to die this summer, there’s speculation that Xander might be the one whose body will be found near the lake. Watch this space.
