So, she suggested converting Horton Town Square into a huge indoor marketplace. She wanted the focus to be on bringing in small business owners of color. Abe thought it was a great idea and so did the city. In fact, the city decided to show its backing and support to Paulina by giving the new tenants one year of free rent. However, it was all a bold-faced lie.

DOOL Spoilers – Demolition Horror

Last week, a demolition crew member crashed Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) anniversary party. He needed Paulina’s signature on the demolition order. That is when everyone followed the crew outside and Abe grabbed the demolition order. She said only a few walls were coming down. However, the order is to tear the entire structure down, which sits on a historical landmark. In fact, the crew member pried off Tom Horton (Macdonald Carey) and Alice Horton’s (Frances Reid) memorial plaque and let it tumble to the ground.

DOOL Spoilers – Abe Carver’s Career Ruined

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, actor James Reynolds explained that Paulina’s deception could ruin Abe’s career. He explained,

“Abe has a very soft heart, but he explodes when he has been wronged. He’s the mayor of this city and she put him in a position where he could have been kicked out of office! Abe’s political career could be going up in smoke, and so is his relationship with the woman who caused all of this.”

Reynolds added,

“It is hard for both Abe and Lani to accept this betrayal, because that’s what it is.”
