Ava and Stefan had been trying to get negative publicity stopped regarding The Bistro, because since Holly Jonas’ (Ashley Puzemis) overdose business had slumped.

The last thing they need is for the regular restaurant customers to stop coming, because it would draw more unwanted attention to the “other customers”.

You can’t have a front for a drug business if drug business is all there is-that’s an assured takedown for any illegal business.

Ava had tried to convince Harris before that they had no drugs running through the business, although there had been overdoses and dealers outside.

He had tried to get her to admit certain things to him so he could help her, but Ava’s stuck-Clyde has been blackmailing her with hurting her only living son.

DOOL Spoilers – Stefan DiMera No Record-Ava Vitali A Record

Stefan doesn’t have a record or any priors concerning drug charges, but Ava had been in the drug business before-a long line of priors from Philadelphia to Salem.

Rafe realizes that she had tried to go straight after she came to Salem and had become involved with him and later Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).

It was her younger son Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) who had been both her terrorizer and her downfall, later murdered and she had been questioned in that.

Ultimately, it was discovered Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) had killed him in an attempt to frame Belle Black (Martha Madison). However, evidence points to Clyde using the Bistro as a front for his drug ring and Stefan and Ava being involved.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – They’re Not Talking

Stefan and Ava aren’t talking other than to deny, deny, and deny some more that they’re involved in the drug business that is happening around their restaurant.

They just want the bad publicity to end and their legitimate business to return because no one wants to go there for fear of criminal activity. Ava finally got the job she wanted and she’s good at, cooking delicious foods for appreciative people.

And now drug runners are ruining it for them and police are suspicious-even two former boyfriends of Ava’s.

The thing Ava hates most about the whole situation is if Clyde hadn’t blackmailed her, Harris and she were developing a really good thing!
