DOOL Spoilers – ‘Crooked Cop’ Arrested

Rafe is already being investigated by Internal Affairs after two complaints came in about the commissioner planting evidence. Just when Rafe thinks it couldn’t get any worse, a third complaint comes in. Ava just happens to arrive at the same time, which confirms Rafe’s suspicions.

However, it’s too late for Rafe to do anything as he is arrested. Actor Galen Gering talked about the storyline with Soap Opera Digest.

“… one of them [the complaints] used to work for the Vitali [organization]. Rafe is like, ‘Wait a minute. This seems a little too convenient. The way Ava’s been acting has been a bit off… Rafe’s angry and frustrated [over being arrested]. How can someone who’s followed the rules of the law so carefully be put in this position?”

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 24 reveal that Rafe tries to explain that he’s innocent to Shawn. Rafe and Shawn have known each other for a long time. So, Shawn doesn’t believe that Rafe is a crooked cop. Rafe has always been one to follow the rules each and every time.

Shawn asks Rafe if someone is setting him up, who it could be. Rafe says that it has to be Ava. When Shawn asks why Ava would do something like this, Rafe admits to cheating on her with Nicole. Rafe assumes that Ava must have found out and he’s right.

Shawn takes everything that Rafe says into consideration. While Rafe is locked up, Shawn begins to investigate to see if Ava is responsible. Meanwhile, Ava and Nicole play a game of cat and mouse. Ava hints that she knows about Nicole and Rafe’s betrayal. As for Nicole, she implies knowing that Ava is responsible for Rafe’s predicament. However, will Shawn and Nicole be able to prove that Rafe’s innocent?
