Lani Price, (Sal Stowers) Eli Grant, (Lamon Archey) and Rafe burst into the motel room that they have tracked Evan/Christian and his father, Milo Harp, also known as Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) to, and all they find is an evasive Evan, and Orpheus and David are long gone, and no trace of David is in the room, just Evan, sitting on the bed calm as a cucumber.
DOOL Spoilers: Lani Price, Eli Grant, And Rafe Hernandez Burst Into Evan Frears’ Motel Room
The three are surprised, shocked, and obviously, Rafe is very angry! Rafe knows from being familiar with the history of Orpheus, that he is many steps ahead of them already, and David likely with him. Evan has learned to stay a few steps ahead too, from his father or he would not have been able to conceal David after he snatched him from Rafe’s house! Rafe continues to grill Evan for where his father has taken David, but to no avail.
Evan simply says he is innocent, the charges were dropped, and Rafe has no probable cause to take him back to the Salem Police station, let alone put him in even a holding cell! He might even be sarcastic enough to deny the whole thing including that he is David’s birth father, although that would end any chance he would have of gaining sole custody in a court of law, due to Lani and Eli being there as witnesses – if they weren’t there then he could say anything he wanted to Rafe, and it would be his word against Rafe’s.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Evan Frears’s Word Is No Longer Any Good
Of course, now that Rafe has caught Evan in so many lies, he no longer trusts anything he says to him as containing even a small morsel of truth! That relationship is ruined. As Evan continues to be evasive, and Rafe continues to grill him, the words coming out of Evan’s mouth are less and less believable to Rafe, and then they get into a fierce argument and go head to head over who has the rights to David, to begin with, since David never signed away any parental rights to the baby!
He hadn’t even known that Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) was pregnant, let alone with his baby, which he figured out after David was a few months old, hearing from a friend of a friend of a friend that Jordan had left California with a baby – he had put the timeframes together with the age the child was thought to be when Jordan left with him and realized he must have been the father!
Rafe tells him he has been in the process of legally adopting David for over a year, and he’s the only father that David has ever known! Both men quarrel over “who’s the daddy!”

Hell Yes!! Rafe will finally get David’s location and will return home with David because we know that Evan/Christian won’t give up his right David. I still hope that the law won’t turn David over Christian because the only time will see David will be during the prison visiting hour.
