DOOL spoilers reveal that last week, Rafe came back to Salem and he ran into Roman. When the commissioner excitedly told him he was on his way to see Hope, Roman had to stop him. That is when Rafe was told what happened to Ciara and that Hope disappeared. They had no idea where she went or when she would be back.

Rafe was clearly devastated by the news of both Ciara and Hope. He also felt incredibly guilty about not being there for Hope when she needed him the most. So, Rafe told Roman the truth about why he had to leave Salem. Roman seemed to understand, but Rafe had so much guilt.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe gets a feeling that Ciara isn’t really dead. The actor told Soap Opera Digest, “He’s optimistic and subscribes to the belief that Hope also has, that Ciara is alive and she somehow managed to escape since they never found any remains. He feels like there would be something there and so Rafe sets about trying to find Hope and track her down and see what he can do to help her.”

There are so many hints and clues that Ciara really is alive. So, it’s just a matter of time before she is discovered and rescued. Unfortunately, it is probably going to take time. Now, even though Gering said Rafe would try to track down Hope, he must not have any luck. This is because it’s confirmed that Rafe ends up in a romance with Nicole Walker Brady (Arianne Zucker).

It also means that it will take longer before Ciara is found alive and returns to Salem. It is just like a soap to have Ciara and Hope come back to Salem, but Rafe has already moved on with another woman. Speaking of which, will Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) also come back to find that the “love of his life” has moved on with another man?
