Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and recap for Friday, May 8, 2020, reveals Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) is reliving telling Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) that her daughter is dead. Xander needs to make Sarah understand that he did this for her. Xander stops to check on Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

Xander tells Victor that Maggie knows everything. Victor is furious with Xander. Xander tells Victor another inmate was telling Maggie and he had to stop her. Xander says he had to hold Maggie. Victor wants to go to Maggie, Xander stops him. Xander has contacted Will Horton (Chandler Massey) to go be with Maggie.

Victor hopes Kristen will be put in prison for attacking him before she hurts anyone. Xander wouldn’t blame Victor is he hated him. Xander has proven to be a true Kiriakis. Victor tells Xander he’s proud of him. Victor tells Xander to learn how to put his family first. Victor says all the work they did was for nothing. Xander leaves to find Sarah.

When Sarah starts out the door the downstairs neighbor arrives. Sarah tries to keep her from seeing Rex. Sarah tells the neighbor that Rex is sick. Sarah lies and gets rid of the neighbor.

Days of Our Lives Lani Price (Sal Stowers) comes to the station to talk to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) about Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) Eli says Lani is lucky that he didn’t arrest her. Lani tells Eli that Kristen is her friend and she had to help her. Eli doesn’t get how Lani doesn’t see that she was manipulated. Lani pushes Eli to arrest her but he doesn’t. Eli gets called out on an assault and refuses to let Lani go. Lani calls Kristen to see where she is.

Days of Our Lives Gabi Dimera (Camila Banus) grabs Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and kisses him. Jake asks what she is doing. Gabi replies she is kissing her husband. Jake suggests that Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) purposely jumped in front of a bullet. Gabi tells Jake that the kiss gave him away. Gabi tells Jake he kissed her back and liked it. Jake tries to make Gabi leave but she refuses. Jake threatens to call the cops to get rid of Gabi but she won’t go.

Days of Our Lives Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) finds Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) passed out on the garage floor. Ben assures Ciara that he’s ok. Ciara calls the cops. Ciara tells Ben the cops are on the way. Ciara wants Ben to go to the hospital but he refuses. Ben needs a kiss to make him feel better. Eli arrives and Ben describes his attackers. Ben explains his boss is upstairs with Gabi.

Jake and Gabi arrive and Eli is shocked to see him. Eli tells Jake that Ben was attacked. Ben tells Jake they thought they were talking to him. Jake suggests that people thought he was Stefan. Eli asks Ben if that is possible. Ben is sorry he can’t be more help. Jake promises to call if the attackers return. Jake wants Gabi escorted off the property. Gabi agrees to leave but promises to be back. Jake apologizes and gives Ciara and Ben a beer. Jake says he doesn’t know anything about this. Ben says he didn’t tell Eli everything. Ben tells Jake the guys were looking for something and asks what it was.

Lani Helps Brady Black – What Happens Next On Days of Our Lives

Days of Our Lives Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) is released from jail. Brady goes to the police department where he meets with Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Brady realizes that Lani helped Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) escape. Lani explains that Kristen has the chance to hold her baby again and love her. Lani tells Brady that Eli is not happy with her. Lani says Kristen deserves to have her baby back.

Lani tells Brady they came up with a lead. Brady asks Lani to take him to Kristen. Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis) calls before Brady and Lani can leave the police station. Lani gives Brady a location. Brady knows Kristen is on the way to Paris. Brady is the only one who can talk Kristen down. Brady thanks Lani and leaves. Eli returns and updates Lani. Meanwhile, Kristen arrives to find Sarah’s door unlocked.
