Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Rejected By Jake, Gabi Moves On And Goes After Xander

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that in Salem Gabi Hernandez, (Camila Banus) after being rejected by Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will move on and turn her attentions to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Could Not Even Get Jake DiMera To Hire Her To Run Her Own Company

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Gabi could not even get Jake to hire her back at DiMera Enterprises to run her own company, Gabi Chic! Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) had fired her and locked up her store in Horton Town Square when he had returned to the helm several months ago! Jake had looked at her proposal with his oldest brother Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) in a recent episode of Days of Our Lives. They both felt okay about the financials of the company, but Tony advised Jake not to bit because it was Gabi herself that was the problem, not the company.

They both agreed that even though Basic Black, which they already own was a similar business, Gabi Chic did attract a different demographic. Jake felt he owed it to Gabi, who would have been his sister-in-law had his twin brother lived, to notify her of his decision in person. He arrived at the door of Gabi and Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) home by Gabi, fresh out of the shower clad only in a towel! Jake was distracted, to say the least – he stuttered and stumbled and said he was there to naked, among other faux pas!

She invited him into the kitchen, which he made some remarks about, but they were not unkind whatsoever. The Hernandez kitchen actually reminded him of the house he grew up in, in Philadelphia! But he had to turn her down, although he did give a verbal promise to return her company to her. Gabi felt turned down in more ways than one, however. She had talked to Rafe right before he left to work, thinking that she had Jake in the bag, so to speak and even Rafe thought she was reading too much into things!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Tries To Get Into Jake DiMera’s “Good Graces” But Fails – She Moves On

Gabi isn’t one to give up that easily. She returns to the DiMera mansion and to the office, trying desperately to get into Jake’s “good graces” – meaning the “good graces” he zips up and buckles his belt on every morning! Gabi and Kate Roberts, (Lauren Koslow) once friends of a sort, are now romantic rivals! Gabi told Rafe she thought Kate would soon tire of Jake. But Jake sets Gabi straight. He loves Kate and Kate loves him. She had her chance and then left before they could see where their relationship would or could go! There is more at stake for Gabi than just to have her lover back, however.

She has her company back but she has no financial backing to run it! It made DiMera some money but she can’t get that back. It was no longer her company! So Gabi decides to go back home – that is, her home when Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) still lived there. She goes looking for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) her old scheming partner! Gabi is rather out of the loop, however.

She doesn’t realize that Xander is serious with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and she doesn’t realize that Titan Industries has lost a good deal of money through Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) using the company to launder mob money, either. She hopes to get Xander’s help in making Jake jealous and getting him back from Kate, and also hopes to align Gabi Chic with Titan so she can get financial backing until she sees enough profit to get her living back. However, she may be in for some disappointment – Xander is not the sneaky villain he once was!
