Everyone believes that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) left town with Rex, but Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) made the doctor disappear. This could spark a search, as well as Xander making a promise.

DOOL spoilers reveal that in July, Lowder confirmed his return on social media. The last time he was in Salem was when Xander and Sarah were supposed to get married. At the same time, Sarah discovered Kristen was impersonating Susan Banks (also played by Haiduk). As a result, Kristen took drastic action and Sarah ended up being injected by the powerful hallucinogen. The last time fans saw Sarah, Kristen was putting her in a trunk and shipping her out of Salem. Sarah wasn’t coherent and kept babbling about Xander due to the accidental injection.

When Rex left Salem, everyone believed that Sarah went with him.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Kristen mentioned Sarah once and hinted she was on a deserted island that was only inhabited by a few rats. That seems to suggest that the island might have a laboratory, similar to the one that Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) would use.

When Xander realizes that Sarah is missing, he will be determined to find her. Despite his current romance with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), fans seem to prefer Xander and Sarah as a couple.
