Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Rolf Brings Back A Fake Kate?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) and Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) might be in competition. Rolf claimed that only he could raise Kate Brady (Lauren Koslow) from the dead-and yet Megan has her-does she have the right Kate, or a clone?

Several years back, Rolf raised Kate when she was dead after Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) had buried her alive. Kate had crawled her way out of a freshly dug grave and made it to the emergency room at Salem University Hospital. However, she was very weak and this was shortly after Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) died-Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) was preparing to donate her heart to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

But then Rolf sneaked into her room and gave her a shot which brought her back to life, and Julie got Stefan’s heart. Later she had to have a pacemaker put in, but after she got the right one she was fine.

When Marlena Evans, (Deidre Hall) Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate woke up in their stasis pods in Megan’s lab, Megan explained how they were there. In Marlena’s case, she used a clone that she’d saved to switch with the real Marlena and the clone died. With Kayla, she had to make a switch in the morgue, getting her to her lab asap, and with Kate, put in her urn the remains of a goat. So if Rolf was telling the truth, which Kate does Megan have – a clone, or someone in a Kate mask? Or are Rolf and Megan in competition, and Rolf was bragging –“I’m afraid Kate Roberts Brady is deader than vaudeville and no one but me can bring her back”?

It is entirely possible that Rolf was bragging because he and Megan are in competition – but if he respected The Phoenix that much, shouldn’t he respect his daughter? Rolf has serums and potions and masks and even an artificial intelligence chip he tried to make Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) live again in Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols). But he never seemed interested in the three prisms, that Megan is using to heal Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and is in the process of resurrecting.

One look around Megan’s lab and one can easily see where DiMera’s science funds are going. Rolf had an entirely different setup when he resurrected Stefan-Megan seems to have him beat by a country mile!
