Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Rolf’s Suspicious Of Kristen’s Plan

Kristen tells him she needs a bud off the orchid he has been growing in his lab, just one flowering bud; and she won’t tell him why.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Only Cure

Rolf has been growing the last specimen of a rare orchid that he has probably had a seed from for many years. The bloom of the orchid is the only source of an antidote that will cure Marlena Evans, (Deidre Hall) Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow). In the wild, the orchid is extinct; all he needs to develop a cure for the toxin that Orpheus (George DelHoyo) stole from his lab is the bloom of the orchid.

The last time an antidote had to be made was over twenty five years ago when Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was dying but the orchid wasn’t extinct then. Rolf likely saved seed from that orchid in case he ever needed to create an antidote again.

DOOL Spoilers – A Potted Plot

Kristen has some kind of plot in store for the potted plant and Rolf is suspicious as to what; he allows her to have one blooming bud, not the whole plant. She places the one bloom of the orchid in a crystal bud vase, but it’s that evil smile that puts Rolf onto her plans not being innocent. Even Rolf wouldn’t barter a cure for a deadly toxin for a relationship, and it looks like that is what she wants to do. She wants the bud so she can blackmail Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for Marlena’s life by forcing him to reconcile with her. Rolf knows if her blackmail works, his protégé Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will know how to make the antidote from the bloom.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Bait Taken

Kristen will be able to force Brady’s hand by offering the orchid bud for Marlena’s cure, but Rex needs enough for more than Marlena. Kate and Kayla are also near death, and will Kristen blackmail them too? Will the one bloom that Kristen has be enough to make three vials of antidote, that is the big question and will she rat out Rolf?

Rex and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) went to Rolf before for the antidote but Rolf’s orchid wasn’t blooming yet; he was going to formulate it. But then Kristen forced Rolf’s hand and took the one blooming bud of the orchid to blackmail Brady, will the orchid produce more blooms quickly enough?
