Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Salem Blackout Surprises – Belle Brady Freaks, Finds Jan Spears In Her House!

As Days of Our Lives, viewers will recall, Belle and Jan do not exactly have a friendly history. For one thing, Heather had a past obsession with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). At least Belle hopes it’s a past obsession, but she is not taking any chances with trusting her! She has kidnapped Shawn twice, after supposedly being “cured” the first time, plus tried to kill Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

The last time she kidnapped Shawn was not all that long ago – just last year, as a matter of fact. Again she was hauled off and committed to a mental institution, and supposedly “cured” again, this time with the help of Belle’s older half-sister Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). Belle did not appreciate it, to say the least, and she has intervened in the budding “friendship” between Jan and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), warning her daughter that Jan was a manipulator and telling her about her history of obsession and kidnapping.

Sami had pulled out the big guns to attempt to stop the custody of Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) being granted to Eric and Nicole Walker Brady (Greg Vaughn, Arianne Zucker). Nicole had hired Jan to kill Victor back then!

DOOL Updates – Jan Spears Has Taken Advantage Of The Blackout In Salem

Jan, like Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) apparently has also taken advantage of the blackout in Salem. Rolf had escaped and headed over to the DiMera mansion in an attempt to retrieve the essence of the Phoenix, which had been on an artificial intelligence chip. It was removed from the brain of Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) thus returning him from the identity of “Steveano” DiMera to his own identity.

Chad and Tony DiMera (Billy Flynn, Thaao Penghlis) had given their father a proper “burial” by burning the chip in a ceremony in the mansion several months ago, therefore ensuring the Phoenix would stay dead this time and not return again from the literal ashes! Belle fears Jan’s obsession with Shawn has mimicked the Phoenix and has risen again from the ashes as she is startled to find her in her house.

She is trying to look around her darkened home and all of a sudden encounters Jan, who shows herself by shining a flashlight at her own face! Shawn is likely out on the hunt along with the rest of the Salem Police force, as not only Rolf, but Clyde Weston (James Read) and Milo Harp aka Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) are loose as well! But is Jan there for Shawn, or is she there for Belle this time?
