Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Sami And Lucas Argue About EJ DiMera, Lucas Won’t Give Up

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) will argue about EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives. Lucas just won’t give up on Sami and wants her back!

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Sami and Lucas seemed to have fallen back in love with each other when they were locked up together in the DiMera wine cellar, although even before then it had started. The two of them had given into their passions, as Days of Our Lives viewers will recall, while Sami and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) disguised as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) were staying in John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) home.

Kristen as Susan had spotted Lucas going into Sami’s bedroom at night and coming back out in the morning, and threatened Sami over it. It was bad enough if it had been Susan, because as longtime viewers of Days of Our Lives will recall, Susan is EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) mother – Kristen is his half-sister by adoption. Kristen later trapped them both in the wine cellar after they failed to get Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) attention away from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) as she had requested!

Sami had spent many years nursing EJ back to health after he was literally raised from the dead, thanks to an early version of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) “resurrection” serum. Admittedly, EJ had treated her pretty badly and that was why she was so vulnerable to Lucas, but when EJ turned up seeming like “the old EJ” and wanting to fix his marriage, Sami couldn’t resist. She told Lucas he needed to accept the fact that they could not be together because she was not leaving EJ!

It is often said that people never truly get over their first loves, and Days of Our Lives viewers would agree that certainly seems to be the case with at least Lucas! Lucas, however has had a longstanding hatred of EJ, and with good reason, since Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) half fraternal twin brother, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) had been conceived when EJ forced himself on Sami!

That’s right – in one of the strangest Days of Our Lives storylines ever, Sami carried a set of fraternal twins with two different fathers – Lucas, Allie’s and EJ, Johnny’s. Even if it weren’t for that, which was enough for not only Lucas, but one of Sami’s other ex-husbands, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to hate EJ, just his personality and the way he goes about things grates on both their nerves – as far as both Lucas and Rafe are concerned, “EJ” could stand for “Entitled Jerk”!

Lucas makes it plain that EJ doesn’t scare him, and that Sami can do so much better. He continues to remind her, as he has previously, how cold EJ was to her and how she deserves to be truly loved. Besides, both he and Rafe suspect that EJ has not changed as much as he claims to and Sami should take a detective’s suspicions seriously, if not Lucas’! Sami, however, continues to be stubborn and tells Lucas that she is determined to make her marriage work!
