Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that Sydney is Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) daughter with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), while Dante is Sami’s newest love interest and fiancé (although fans have yet to see them together on screen).

Reports have confirmed that Sami will not be travelling alongside either Sydney or Dante when they head to Salem, so it is more than interesting that these two will be in Sami’s hometown, without Sami!

It’s very likely that Dante is the “Italian billionaire” who’s buying the Kiriakis mansion, so that may be why he’s in town. But could he also have an ulterior motive?

Dante Vitali & Sydney DiMera’s Sizzling Secret

Is Sydney returning to Salem for a visit, or is she looking to return to town for good? Maybe she wants to get away from Italy for a reason.

It’s hard to say how old Sydney is, as she’s been SORASed; however, it’s safe to say that Sydney is seemingly an adult now, at least over the age of 19, as she was born well before her niece, Arianna “Ari” Horton (Vico Escorcia), and Ari is in her second year of college.

So, is Sydney trying to escape Italy because of Dante? While Sami tried to fluff Dante’s last name and his link to the mob, not to mention his cousin Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), perhaps he’s gotten Sydney mixed up in something illegal?

Then again, could these two have a bigger, steamier secret? Could the two have had an affair? This is the land of soaps, and daughters often betray mothers (and vice versa) when it comes to romance!

It would explain why Dante bought the Kiriakis mansion (as an excuse to visit Salem and be there when Sydney arrives).
