It’s complicated because EJ was the one that kicked Sami out, but she promised to be back. EJ waited and expected Sami to keep her promise, but that didn’t happen. So, he tried to move on with someone else.

When Sami serves EJ with divorce papers, she pulls him into a passionate kiss. So, is she playing mind games with EJ? It is known that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) encourages Lucas to fight for Sami. Plus, Lucas was the one who saved Sami from her hostage situation whereas EJ was shacking up with Nicole. So, this kiss might not be Sami reconsidering the divorce. Instead, Sami just might be saying one final goodbye by sealing the “Ejami” divorce with a kiss.
