Days Of Our Lives spoilers tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will reach out to comfort a devastated Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) after Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) has rejected him and turned to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) for comfort instead!

Days of Our Lives viewers saw Nicole tell Eric she wanted nothing further to do with him and marched right past him into the waiting arms of Brady at the Kiriakis mansion in Friday, May 10th’s episode and Eric was devastated!

He had mentioned that he was battling to be the one to take care of her daughter Holly Jonas (Scarlett and Harlow Mallory) based on her verbal plea to him when he and Brady were trying to rescue her from the exploded warehouse in Nashville, but when the letter came to Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) from Nicole, stating in writing that she wanted Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) to care for her if something happened to Nicole, that appeared to legally trump her verbal plea.

Nicole had forgotten she’d written it and explained she’d written it while under duress from Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). However, she blamed Eric for not fighting to take Holly from Chloe once she’d been attacked by the cartel!

Sarah and Eric became close during the time that Holly was still with Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Eric was battling with Brady over who should care for the little one. At that time, Chloe really wasn’t involved in the argument, knowing that she was safe with her grandma Maggie.

But Maggie herself had some issues with Eric taking care of her, considering Eric, as Maggie, had had drinking problems and killed her son, Holly’s father Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) while driving drunk. She wasn’t convinced a single man who had had drinking problems was the best plan for Holly to be raised by.

Sarah, in the meantime had moved to Salem from Chicago after her first engagement to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) had fallen apart due to his infidelity, first with Mimi Lockhart (Farrah Fath) who bore his child, and then later she found out he’d slept with her half-sister as well!

Sarah offered to help Eric care for Holly herself to help with the custody arrangements, but after the letter came, legally it was a moot point. It’s no surprise that Sarah reaches out to Eric to comfort him, and other Days of Our Lives spoilers tease she will go above and beyond to fix things so he will be happy, in spite of her own romantic feelings for him!
