As Chief of Staff, Kayla was able to rush the blood test after hearing Sarah’s story.

He began to do it, but stopped himself. He made a promise to Sarah to be a better man. He was okay with roughing someone up, but couldn’t kill anyone. Of course, Victor got angry. However, it was touching that he thought of what Sarah would think. It seems Xander is making the evolution from a killer to a decent human being.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander finds out about Sarah’s pregnancy. He offers a solution to help her. It doesn’t state whether she takes his suggestion.
