It has taken some time and a lot of forgiveness, but Shawn and Belle’s marriage is finally back on track. They are in a really good place right now. Then, Shawn discovered that Philip was back in town. Even though they have all put the past behind them, it still brings up old hurt in Shawn’s heart.

While it’s possible “old foe” is referencing Philip, we don’t think that is the person the spoilers are talking about.

Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that we could see the return of an old character. Some longtime fans might remember a girl named Jan Spears. She became obsessed with Shawn and was definitely known for her troublemaking ways. Remember when Shawn, Belle, Philip, Jan and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) were still in high school? The rat in Chloe’s locker? The crazy shenanigans and cruel pranks?

Well, that’s not all Jan is known for and Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) could use the villain’s return to help her win custody.

There is reason to believe that if Jan is the “old foe” that comes back to Salem, Sami could use her to win custody. At least, she will try to use Jan. There was a time when Jan and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) schemed together. In fact, they both worked as a team to try and murder Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).

If Nicole is going to expose all of Sami’s schemes, then she better be prepared to have the same done to her. Plus, it is teased that Sami shows up in court with a surprise witness. Could this witness be the infamous Jan Spears?
