Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Moment Of Weakness

Belle was frustrated and hurt, and it was a moment of weakness for her when she sought comfort in EJ’s arms and his bed. But Shawn was frustrated and hurt too, because although he wanted the baby he thought was his child with Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) he surely didn’t want Jan. He never did want Jan and the only reason he had sex with her was because he had been fooled by the devil into thinking she was Belle.

They had been over that again and again with each other but Belle couldn’t get past it; what man wants to admit he was raped? He certainly didn’t consent to the sex he had with Jan when the devil turned her into a doppelgänger of Belle.

DOOL Spoilers – Can’t They Just Forgive?

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers Belle and Shawn are no longer with EJ and Jan, and yet they both find it difficult to forgive and forget, and make a new start. For Shawn, EJ is like this big elephant in the room that neither one of them wants to discuss, and he is still Belle’s law partner. Perhaps that is where the problem lies – EJ may be gone from Belle’s personal life but not her work life, and he’s a constant reminder of the affair for Shawn. For Belle, the baby was a constant reminder of Jan even though the baby was innocent in the matter. Shawn suggests perhaps Belle should break up her law partnership with EJ and start a standalone law practice, and she says that’s easier said than done because of contracts.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Something Has To Give

For Shawn and Belle to make it and for their marriage to survive, obviously something has to give, and give soon. She’s moved back in with Shawn and yet there is an invisible wall between the two of them, and that’s likely a wall of betrayal and distrust. It’s difficult to get past what happened on both sides, and they may need to get some marriage counseling to help them see the other’s side.

They each say they understand what happened and they each say they forgive, but have they really? The first step in making amends is to be honest and real.
