Melinda Trask Catches Shawn Brady Drinking
Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will catch Shawn drinking on the job and will likely blame him for Megan Dimera’s (Miranda Wilson) escape.
Melinda will certainly report Shawn to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and demand he be fired on the spot. However, Rafe believes that is too drastic and will suspend Shawn instead.
Shawn doesn’t see why everyone has an issue with his drinking. Shawn doesn’t believe he is drunk on the job and will take offense to being suspended as well. Shawn will certainly tear into Rafe over his decision.
Unfortunately, Shawn will also expose the connection between Rafe and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) getting Rafe in trouble as well.

Shawn has heard about his drinking for weeks from his wife and he doesn’t need anyone else on his back. What is the difference between Shawn breaking a rule by drinking and Rafe dating a subordinate?
Wasn’t that rule put into place because of Rafe? Abe Carver (James Reynolds) may not say anything about this, but the acting mayor has a completely different reaction.
Shawn believes that Rafe should cut him some slack after everything he has been through recently. However, Shawn is certainly going about getting sympathy the wrong way.

After all, what Rafe does off duty is his business. It isn’t like Rafe and Jada have spent time together while they were at work. Rafe and Jada are keeping things away from the office.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: The Acting Mayor Gets Involved
The acting mayor will stop by the police station and get an earful as Shawn and Rafe argue and this will cause issues for both of them. Rafe could very well find himself on suspension just as well as Shawn or worse.
After all, an election will have to be held to replace Abe and the new mayor will certainly want to put his best foot forward.
Could Shawn get himself and Rafe fired from the station? What will the Salem PD do if they lose two officers at this time? Does Melinda and the new mayor have replacements lined up already?
Will Abe make it back just in time to save the department from Melinda and that acting mayor because any more damage can be done?
