Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that some jaw-dropping moments are ahead in Salem, so we’ve got an April preview to pass along.

There’ll be some huge choices, recast debuts and plenty of family drama, so let’s talk about what’s in store this month.

For starters, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will keep his vow to help Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) fight the plagiarism lawsuit.

It’s looking like Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) and Xander Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) plan to score big DiMera bucks could go up in smoke.

Xander has a plot of his own that involves moving $5 million of dirty money into the legit Titan financial side, but that seems like another disaster waiting to happen.

Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) is in danger of losing the Kiriakis mansion if they can’t make the loan payment, so there’s a lot riding on the financial mess at Titan.

Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) has agreed to move in the Kiriakis residence with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier), but they’ll have to move right back out if Maggie can’t keep control of the house.

Since Gabi is partly to blame for the crumbling Titan-DiMera merger, she’s also partly to blame for Titan’s financial woes. As the guilt takes a toll on Gabi, how long will she be able to keep quiet?

Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will deal with a secret of his own now that EJ has shown him Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) in the DiMera tunnels. EJ claimed he wanted to give Theo a chance to make some changes before Lexie wakes up.

Days spoilers say Theo will have to figure out if his future is still at DiMera Enterprises. Lexie wouldn’t be a fan of Theo running the company, so EJ’s counting on him to let Johnny stay in the CEO seat instead.

Regardless of what Theo decides to do professionally, he’ll have to make some personal decisions, too. EJ insisted Theo couldn’t tell Abe Carver (James Reynolds) or anyone else about Lexie being on the verge of her resurrection.

Abe loved his former wife dearly, so hiding something this massive will be hard for Theo. There’s a chance Theo will figure out Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is keeping the same secret, so they may mull over how long they can sit on this info.

However, Abe will discover Lexie’s Days comeback sooner or later since she’s indeed going to wake up and rejoin the land of the living.

In the meantime, Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will take some sizzling steps with Brady Black (Eric Marsolf) while Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) finishes delivering her alliance proposal to Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd).

Kristen hinted about a mutually beneficial partnership, but Sophia may be wary of trusting her. Of course, Kristen can’t really put her faith in Sophia either, so any scheme they cook up will mean taking a gamble.

Once Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) finally determines that Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) is the guy he wants, he’ll fear he’s too late. Javi will confess that he’s involved with someone else, so his new boyfriend will make some waves.

There’ll be some stunning scenes when it’s time for Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) upcoming will reading as well.

Next, we should talk about the latest comings and goings news since some important developments are on the way.

The role of Arianna “Ari” Horton (last played by Marissa Reyes) is being recast, so Days fans can expect the new actress to first air in April.

Behind-the-scenes clues are pointing to Sydney Malakeh playing the part of Ari, but there’s no confirmation on that just yet.

Chad DiMera (last played by Billy Flynn) will also return in recast form since Conner Floyd will officially take over the role on April 21.

Michael Roark will exit as Jeremy Horton, but there’ll be another familiar face who returns to rock Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Kiriakis’ (Abigail Klein) world.

AlexAnn Hopkins will reprise the role of Joy Williams starting April 24, so she seems poised to bring some baby drama once she’s back on-screen.
