As Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) won’t be able to offer any testimony on her end, what kind of cut-throat tactics will Sloan pull to get her teenage client exonerated of all charges?

DOOL spoilers note that Sloan’s lawyer instincts will surface, and she’ll have zero issues playing dirty. After all, Tate’s trying to prove that he didn’t give Holly any of the pills that caused her to overdose; in fact, he was trying to stop her from taking them.

Still, without a witness to prove this, Sloan will have to attack Holly’s personality, which may also mean attacking her mom’s.

Sloan may come up with a case that presents Nicole as an unfit mother. Holly had a very turbulent childhood, with some lack of stability.

From having multiple stepdads over the years to Nicole’s more recent behavior after “losing” Baby Jude, Sloan could argue that Holly is a classic case of a teen turning to drugs because of her zero parental supervision.

Days Spoilers – The Eric Brady Factor

Sloan’s tactics could work in the courtroom, but what will the repercussions be when she comes home to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)? Eric’s in a sticky position in the sense that he doesn’t want to see Tate go to jail, and likely believes he’s innocent.

However, Holly has been like a daughter to him over the years, and the bond the two share is incredible. The last thing Eric wants is for Holly and Nicole’s past to be brought up.

If Sloan crosses a line by dragging the young girl’s name in the mud, plus Nicole’s, this could create some issues in her family life.

Will Sloan take the opportunity to strike back at Nicole and Holly when she takes on Tate’s case?
