Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Sophia & Tate’s Twist, Amy’s Last-Minute Baby Adoption?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) finally got Amy Choi’s (Shi Ne Nielson) approval to give the baby up for adoption.

However, only if they find a couple that Amy approves of, which is going to be difficult. In the end, could Amy decide to adopt her own grandchild? Keep reading and let’s talk about what could happen next with this storyline.

Sophia Choi’s Pregnancy

Fans watched as Tate and Sophia found out they were expecting a baby. Just teenagers, Sophia was terrified to tell her parents. Sophia and Tate decided to get an abortion, but Amy blocked that option.

Amy seems determined to force Sophia and Tate to raise the baby as well as get married! Amy is definitely controlling and unfortunately, Sophia’s hands are tied due to the law and her age.

Potential Couple Backs Out

Sophia did find a couple from her church that were thinking about adoption. Sophia and Tate thought this couple was the chance of getting Amy to agree.

However, the couple backed out at the last minute. In fact, Sophia specifically mentioned that the lady seemed like she couldn’t get off the phone with her fast enough. Maybe there is a reason for that.

Amy Choi’s Adoption Approval

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that after the couple backed out, Sophia had severe cramps. At the hospital, Sophia was diagnosed with round ligament pain. It was then that Amy finally agreed to allow Sophia and Tate to look into adoption.

However, Amy had the condition that she gets the final say. Amy has very strict standards, but they seem ridiculous and far-fetched. Perhaps this is because Amy has had only one option in mind the entire time.

Amy Choi’s Last-Minute Twist?

Fans already know that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree-DiMera (Raven Bowens) offered to adopt Sophia’s baby.

However, Tate let JANEL know that Amy has pretty high standards. When Chanel asked for details, Tate couldn’t explain. Tate didn’t exactly know Amy’s standards, just that nobody seems good enough.

Is it possible that the reason why Amy is being so hard-nosed about this is because she wants to raise the baby herself? Maybe Amy wants Sophia to come to her with the request rather than being told what to do.

Amy did say she mistakenly thought Tate and Sophia were being selfish teenagers. With the new knowledge that Sophia and Tate love the baby, but know someone else would be better as parents, could Amy offer to raise her own grandchild?
