Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Spooky Halloween Special Preview

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that our favorite characters in Salem will be getting into the spirit of things just in time for Halloween next week. In fact, it’ll be the NBC soap’s second Halloween special in a row and yes, fans should expect to get ‘spooked out.’ Here’s why!

According to Soaps in Depth, head writer Ron Carlivati says that this will be an episode that Days fans won’t want to miss.

Ron told Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “Last year, it was Abigail’s dream and we got to do all of these outrageous things and bring certain people back to life and just have this kind of wacky, over-the-top Halloween show that to me was very much in line with Days of Our Lives.”

Now, as far as what fans can expect this year, remains to be seen. But Ron promises that viewers will definitely be left at the edge of their seats.

He continued, “Originally, I had wanted to do a parody of The Exorcist because Marlena has been possessed by the devil and so it seemed like the perfect way to be able to have a nod back to that storyline without really doing it. Also, because Abigail’s pregnant, we were able to have elements of The Exorcist, but it morphed a little more into Rosemary’s Baby.”
