Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Stacy Haiduk Spills Kristen DiMera Return Details

Days of Our Lives star Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera) is opening up about her return back home to Salem. The blonde beauty admits that she was hoping to come back sooner and was actually on pins and needles until she got that all-important phone call from the show’s producers. Here’s what she has to say.

Stacy told Soap Opera Digest in an interview, “When I left Days of Our Lives, they told me they were going to have me back. Then July went by, and August went by and September went by, and I went, ‘Oh, my God! It’s not going to happen.”

For Stacy, she was worried this meant that her days on daytime television were up. She even says that she worked as an Uber driver when her acting gigs dried up. And as much as she’s willing to do what it takes to make ends meet, she didn’t want to be a cab driver again!

And while Stacy did get work here and there, she still kept on thinking about her character on Days of Our Lives and if she would ever get that all-important phone call again. She continued, “I literally prayed to the universe. I was like, ‘I so want to go back. Please, I need to hear something soon,’ This was in October. I didn’t know what I was going to do. The next day, I got the call from my agent, and I was literally in tears. Because there has been all this hope, and then doubt, and then all of a sudden it was like, ‘Thank God.’ I was so thrilled, because I loved being on Days the first time and I loved working with everyone. I just thought it was going to happen sooner. That’s what I had hoped, but it happened when it happened, and I was grateful.”

As many fans already know, Kristen has her eyes on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get him back!
