Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Stefan DiMera OUT, Brandon Barash Suddenly Fired… Again

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) is exiting once again. Just like last time, it was not the actor’s decision, and it came suddenly.

Brandon Barash’s Return

DOOL spoilers reveal that Brandon was fired once before. Fans were furious as everyone really loved Stefan and Gabi Hernandez-DiMera (then played by Camila Banus, now portrayed by Cherie Jimenez).

Fans were furious and were quite vocal about the exit. Later, Barash came back and played Jake DiMera, only later to be Stefan again.

After Banus left the show, Gabi was brought back from prison but with a new face. Cherie took over the role. Right after Gabi was released from prison, fans thought they would see STABI sizzle again.

However, right off the bat, Gabi and Stefan were divided over a fling with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). A drunken fling that led to Gabi sleeping with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).

Stefan DiMera Exits

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Vivian Alamain (Louise Sorel) comes back during the week of October 28, 2024. Vivian will scheme with Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).

However, Vivian will also block Stefan and Gabi from meeting each other. So, maybe Vivian has something to do with Stefan’s exit.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Actor’s Heartbreaking Confession

In an interview with She Knows Soaps, Barash gave this heartbreaking confession:

“I knew exactly what was happening as soon as I was called up to [the boss’] office. And she said, ‘Look, this is not my doing. I don’t like it. And this is no reflection on you or your abilities. You’re very talented. We know your work ethic is very high, but it’s just where we’re deciding to take the character.’”

Barash explained that he was in the middle of his contract. However, it was the writers’ decision to have Stefan exit.

Barash was called to co-executive producer Janet Spellman-Drucker’s office after filming a hospital scene with Gabi. 

“This is the second time this has happened to me on Days of Our Lives. And, you know, it would have to be very, very right. The terms would have to be right. The story would have to be right. The contract would have to be right. And I would have to be able to trust them. And I’ve lost that. I’ve lost that ability to trust that team, quite frankly.”
