Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) had nothing to do with Harris Michaels’s (Steve Burton) shooting, even though all the evidence collected seems to prove otherwise. The good news is that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) believes him; however, the bad news is, he still could spend a chunk of time behind bars if a court of law believes he’s guilty.

Fans know he’s being set up, but by whom and why? Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) may have the answers to this.

Days spoilers hint that Stefan has been acting weird as of late. Not only around Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), but some fans also recall how jumpy he was in the Bistro when talking to Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) after Harris was shot.

At the time, audiences just assumed it was because the two found him and Ava in the afterglow of the bedroom session, and as Stefan doesn’t want Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) to catch wind of this, he was edgy.

However, since, some viewers seem to think his behavior has something to do with Harris’s shooting.

Days Spoilers – There Are No Coincidences In Salem

When Xand first got the call to “eliminate” someone from an unknown caller and number, he headed to the DiMera mansion to confront EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). EJ wasn’t there, but Stefan was, and Xand gave EJ’s brother a piece of his mind.

At the time, Stefan insisted that EJ wasn’t the caller spewing murder orders, which is interesting that he’d defend his brother on that level considering the two aren’t that close and don’t really share the inner details of their lives.

How did Stefan know “for a fact” that EJ wasn’t the caller unless he was the caller himself?

At the time, the Xander/Stefan scene seemed so random, but as the pieces of this shooting puzzle continue to come together, it would make sense for Stefan to be the shooter.

After all, he may have a side agreement with Clyde that Ava doesn’t know about. Then again, maybe Weston was on to Vitali’s secret alliance with Harris, and how she was feeding information to the cop.

If that’s the case, Stefan may have shot Michaels and framed Xander to protect her from Clyde’s potential wrath.
