After he cheated Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk) out of several thousand dollars, she almost shot him. But Dimitri took the gun from Kristen and planned to use it to kill Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Hernandez (Camilla Banus).
But just as Dimitri was about to shoot, he was shot by Vivian Alamaine (Louise Sorel) who arrived just in time to save her son!

Although Stefan will be quite grateful to Vivian, he will certainly recognize that her actions could put Vivian in grave danger. Fortunately, it looks as though Dimitri will survive.

But that doesn’t mean his mother, Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) will take kindly to anyone who tries to harm her beloved son. Megan has already proven that she is more than capable of committing murder herself.
DOOL Spoilers – Megan DiMera Has Planned To Kill Stefan DiMera Herself!
Before she escaped from Salem, Megan had planned to have Stefan killed herself. To that end, she and Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) brainwashed Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) to kill Stefan. Her plan was foiled and it was Megan herself who ended up shot.
When her role in the brainwashing was revealed, Megan disappeared with the help of Rolf. But she trusted Dimitri to continue her schemes.

Stefan and Gabi found out that Dimitri was sleeping with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) and to keep them quiet, Dimitri planned to kill them.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Vivian Alamaine Will Need To Disappear!
But now that Vivian has shot Dimitri, word will reach Megan sooner rather than later. She will certainly plan to retaliate by having Vivian killed.
Stefan is well aware of Megan’s murderous tendencies so look for him to spirit Vivian out of Salem and away from Megan’s reach. That is as long as Vivian go into hiding with no one aware of her location.
Can Stefan get Vivian out of Salem in time? Or will Megan send someone to rid the world of Vivian once and for all?
