The news will come as a shock to Tony and Kristen, but will they do anything about it? Tony and Marlena have a special friendship. Unless he gets brainwashed, then he will want to somehow help Marlena.

As for Kristen, she loves Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), who is Marlena’s stepson. She is also desperate to be accepted for the person she is now, but John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena can’t get over the evil things she did to them in the past. This could be her chance to be forgiven, prove she has changed and get a redemption story that fans will buy. However, she is also loyal to her father and she will have to decide which she wants more… her father’s love or a life with Brady.

Even though Marlena is marrying Stefano, she has an unbreakable bond with John. They are soul mates and nothing can break that connection, not even a brain chip. John uses their deep connection to try and telepathically reach out to Marlena.
