DOOL spoilers reveal that EJ was blindsided when Holly suddenly confessed that the drugs on New Year’s Eve were hers.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) demanded that EJ have Tate released from the halfway house. In addition to that, Brady wanted EJ to drop all charges as well as give a public apology.

At first, EJ said it would take time. Brady wasn’t willing to accept that, though. So, EJ scrambled and managed to do what Brady wanted. Now, EJ is holding a press release to publicly announce that Tate has been cleared.

During the week of April 15, 2024, EJ will basically say during the press conference that mistakes happen.

Afterward, EJ tells Brady to accept the press conference as an apology. It’s not really good enough for Brady, but he might reason at least it’s better than nothing.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that EJ tries to leave after the press conference. EJ doesn’t want any questions from reporters, because that could incriminate him.

However, EJ is blindsided to discover that Stefan has been released. Not only that, but Sloan Petersen-Brady (Jessica Serfaty) is Stefan’s new lawyer.

DOOL Spoilers – Scrambling & Scheming

Feuerriegel spoke with Soap Opera Digest about EJ’s press conference and Stefan’s surprise release. The actor teased,

“EJ was hoping for the best, but there was every possibility that things would not go his way. [Once] Stefan shows up, that creates a circus. That means there’s more attention on EJ, on what did he do? What has he screwed up? So, it’s more about how it comes across to him, rather than the decision going the opposite way.”

Feuerriegel added,

“Any kind of mix-up would sever the connection and make her [Nicole Walker-DiMera, played by Arianne Zucker] go the other way [referring to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan].”

Stefan threatens to expose the truth about the drugs. That would expose that EJ knew about it and did nothing. That’s not something that Nicole would understand or forgive, especially with what happened to her daughter.
