Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lani Price-Grant Suspects Her Father Is Alive
Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) got called away on FBI business to Phoenix, but Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) took responsibility for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
She’s out on an arranged prison furlough for family business, with her father being presumed dead. Steve and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) find out that she suspects her father is alive when finding that the witness is an actor named Jerry Prentiss (Terrell Ransom Jr.)
Things simply didn’t add up for Lani and they don’t line up for Steve and John either-especially after Steve has a nightmare about him. It’s almost like Abe is somehow trying to cry out for help to him, and Steve has to find out why.

DOOL Spoilers: Steve Johnson Finds Out Whitley King’s No Longer Employed
According to DOOL spoilers, Steve looks for Whitley at Salem University Hospital and finds out that she’s no longer employed there; she resigned shortly after she gave her condolences to Paulina Price (Jackée Harry). Steve finds that very odd, especially after Lani saw Jerry, the actor, talking to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) and leaving when Lani showed up.
Now Steve tries to track Whitley down at her apartment, and again, like when Rafe went there, she won’t let him in and arranges to meet in the park. Rafe heard a tv on in the apartment but he was ignored when he called in there, and shortly ran into Whitley who went to the Salem PD to talk.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Bogus Excuses
All Steve gets out of Whitley is a bunch of bogus excuses about having to care for her sick cat, and the hospital wouldn’t give her a leave of absence.

Steve informs Whitley his wife is Chief of Staff, does she not know who Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) is-she might have given her some personal time. Whitley quitting her job when the patient she cared for was now presumed dead and a funeral imminent doesn’t smell right to Steve.
But the more he questions Whitley as to why she resigned the less sense her answers make. Steve smells a rat and he assures her the rat is Whitley herself and he’s getting to the bottom of it!
