Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Tamara Braun Teases Ava Vitali’s Return

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal the return of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). And while Ava developed a reputation as a villain, the actress adores her Days Of Our Lives role.

As a result, when producers invited Braun to return, she didn’t hesitate.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Ava Goes Through ‘Different Incarnations’

Before co-executive producer Albert Alarr’s firing, the Days Of Our Lives exec contacted actress Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali) about returning.

And Tamara definitely felt interested in learning about the opportunity. “I received a call from Albert [Alarr, former co-executive producer] saying that he was curious if I would be willing to come back,” recalled Braun to Soap Opera Digest.

And the Days Of Our Lives actress shared that the former producer “wanted to know my thoughts” on his new plot twist.

But it didn’t take long for Braun to agree. And the actress gushed, “I’m back. I absolutely love Ava. She’s had different incarnations.”

And while the Days Of Our Lives star has appreciated some of those “incarnations” more than others, Tamara appreciates all the different versions.

“But what’s beautiful about her is that she has so many layers to her,” added the actress. “And there’s a lot of history there. It’s always fun to see what avenue whoever’s writing at the time is going to take with her.”

And when Braun returned after her 10-month hiatus, she discovered many similarities. “I was excited to see my cast members and the crew that are so wonderful.

People who work at DAYS really enjoy one another. It’s a nice thing. Whenever I’ve come and gone, it’s always a lovely welcome and a sad good-bye,” added the Days Of Our Lives star. 

But Tamara especially appreciated some of her cast reunions. For instance, Braun cherished working together again with the actor who portrays her son, Lucas Adams (Tripp).

“Oh, I love him,” shared Tamara. “He is truly the sweetest guy ever. I had some scenes with him,” she teased. “And they were lovely as always.”

However, Braun also offered some spoilers. For instance, Ava remains at Bayview. And the actress explained, “Ava was sent there because she had another breakdown and was having hallucinations. So she’s dealing with that and getting treatment.”

But the actress also pointed out, “I’ve lived with Ava since 2008, on and off. I love her. It’s just a matter of figuring out what headspace she’s in, because she can be in varied states. I wasn’t really sure until I got the first script. But it was like just getting on a bike again and pedaling.”

And Braun welcomed another reunion, this one involving her former General Hospital co-star Steve Burton.

Because Ava and Harris Michaels have become patients at the same facility, the former General Hospital co-stars enjoy “a good chemistry and flow,” shared Tamra.

And overall, Braun feels grateful “that the writers continue to want to use Ava. And the fans seem to love her — love to hate her and hate to love her.

I appreciate it so much. It makes me feel that Ava is somebody they’re invested in.”

And the Days Of Our Lives star offered a final teaser. “I don’t want to give much away,” she cautioned.

“But what I will say is that I get to mix with a lot of the characters from Ava’s past and a few new ones. And it’s a lot of fun.”
