Maybe he can say he came across information that there was a decoy van and possibly Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) followed the decoy instead of the real one, and that Ted suspects Holly may have been sold by the cartel into a black market adoption scheme. It won’t be hard for Hope to believe that Eve Deveraux (Kassie DePaiva) won’t put out the manpower to pursue Ted’s leads!

As Days of Our Lives viewers know, Ted does know that Holly was not killed and he also knows that the cartel wasn’t responsible for her kidnapping. But if he can get one little lead that someone either inside or outside the Salem PD can follow, perhaps John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and can find Holly and return her, Ted will be a big hero!

Of course he might have to keep his hero status from Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) somehow, unless he flips on him to the police and Xander’s part in the kidnapping is revealed to them. It all depends on if Xander has any proof Ted was in on it that he can flip on Ted with!
