Chanel DiMera’s Adoption Aspirations
Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that Chanel and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) were thinking about adopting Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) and Tate Black’s (Leo Howard) baby, until Johnny got cold feet.
He was worried about being a good father; however, his recent actions at his trial more than proved he’s nothing like EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
During the week of September 1, Chanel will start to rethink adoption. If she can convince Johnny to give the green light, they may be well on their way to starting the process again.
Baby Tesoro’s Fate

Right now, Javi seems to want to adopt little T, but because of his past trauma with losing his own child, he may decide to step back.
Then again, if he learns that Chanel and Johnny want to adopt Tesoro, he may completely back off, as he might realize what a loving family Tesoro will go to.
Janel may even promise to allow Javi and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to be in the child’s life. Chanel and Johnny are ready to be parents, but Javi realized he wanted to adopt Tesoro after bonding with him.
He may realize the best thing to do is to allow Janel to adopt the baby, as they have wanted to be parents for such a long time.
Then again, Javi may be adamant about adopting the child. He may not even know Janel is interested in Tesoro. Could an all-out war for the baby erupt? How ugly would things get between Chanel, Johnny, Javi, and Leo?
