Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that the devil might be headed back to Salem, piggybacking from the great beyond when Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) returns. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Kate Brady (Lauren Koslow) will also return, but the devil will need a new host-will Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) be his next target?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Dark Eric Brady To Really Dark Eric Brady?
When you think about it, the fallen from grace once Father Eric would be the perfect target for the devil to inhabit on his next trip back to Salem. Dark Eric would become really dark Eric with the devil running the show and Eric not being able to fight him off. Eric’s given up the good guy persona and decided to have a little fun, since the powers that be of the church defrocked him for unsanctioned exorcisms, of all things.
That and other heartaches such as Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) talking Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) into aborting their baby have driven formerly good Eric the other way. Dark Eric with all his bitterness inside could indeed be a target for the devil when he returns to town looking for a host.
DOOL Spoilers – Who’s Going To Exorcise The Devil This Time?
Days of Our Lives spoilers show Eric exorcised the devil the last time with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) sacrificing himself to be raised by Angel Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) he’s fallen too far this time. Even if he were to try a layman’s exorcism much like John Black (Drake Hogestyn) did years ago during MarDevil’s first reign, the devil would laugh. It would be one of those “I know Jesus, I know Paul, but who are you?” moments like when someone acting under their own power tried an exorcism. If there isn’t any power from God behind the person administering the exorcism, it won’t work and perhaps will make things worse.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – God Help Us All
If the devil takes over Eric, the whole of Salem will be praying God help us all-who will free Eric and get rid of the devil for good? Tripp’s sacrifice was supposed to do that, even if Bo came and breathed life back into him. Sister Mary Moira Banks (Stacy Haiduk) might be enough to scare the devil out of Eric, or just about anyone else for that matter, but the Catholic Church has restrictions.
Women may not be sanctioned to perform certain rites such as exorcism, and if Eric was defrocked, someone else will have to save Eric and Salem. Perhaps a new and powerful priest-exorcism performer will come along and save the day.
