It was assumed for a bit that the fake Abigail’s name was really Marin Greene. However, in a twist, it turns out that the woman is someone unexpected!

Fans learned in the Monday, October 21, 2024, episode that “Abigail” is Cat, the daughter of Catharina Meleounis, who is supposed to be dead.

In addition to that, Steve and Chad might insist on investigating Cat’s claims. Then, this will turn into a mission to save Catharina, who is being held hostage by Clyde Weston’s (James Read) goons.

Now Chad will have to grieve Abigail all over again. While it seems Cat and Mark’s scheme is unforgivable, soap characters usually have room for redemption.

What could allow Chad to forgive and possibly fall in love with Cat? Could Clyde target Chad’s children after the failed Fauxigail scheme?
