Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for Thursday, January 1, 2026! Fans can expect the Hernandez family to prepare for a wedding. Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) asks Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) for a favor.

Chanel Dupree DiMera’s Resentment

Let’s start off with Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens). The couple has already been struggling after the adoption of the baby.

Right now, Johnny is using finances as the reason he should temporarily take over for Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) at DiMera Enterprises.

However, the pregnancy news puts new burdens on Johnny and Chanel. The young man doesn’t think they can handle it and also brought up the cancer possibly returning.

Even though Johnny is trying to think of all the possibilities, Chanel was so excited about this pregnancy. So, will this resentment cause a division between JANEL?

Hernandez Family Prepares

Over at the Hernandez house, everyone will be getting ready for a wedding! Leo and Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) must be excited but nervous all at the same time!

In Salem, weddings never seem to go as planned. There is always some kind of bombshell, crasher, or curveball at events like these. So, what is going to happen at Leo and Javi’s wedding?

Leo Stark’s Special Request

Days of Our Lives spoilers for tomorrow’s episode reveal that Leo will have a special request for Marlena. The woman had already agreed to marry Leo and Javi.

So, I wonder if Leo will have another special role at the wedding for Marlena to play. Leo never had a good relationship with his mother, so maybe Marlena will stand in her place?

Gabi Hernandez Bonds

Fans know that Gwen paid Gabi a hefty sum of money to design a Fashion Week-type of dress in less than a week. At first, Gabi was hesitant, but then she couldn’t say no to the dollar signs.

At the time of this deal, Gwen hadn’t been invited to Leo and Javi’s wedding. So, what exactly is this dress for and what is Gwen expecting?

EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) claims he has to go out of town to see his daughter. However, the story sounded rather fishy. I wonder if EJ is just setting himself up not to be a suspect in another weird crime.
