‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers Thursday, May 22: Ari’s Birthday Celebration, Shawn’s Back-Up, Holly’s Assist

Days of Our Lives spoilers are in for Thursday, May 22, 2025. Fans can expect the next episode to feature Arianna “Ari” Horton (Marissa Reyes) celebrating her birthday.

Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) call for backup. Plus, Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) helps out Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).

Ari Horton’s Birthday Celebration

In tomorrow’s episode, fans can expect Ari to continue reconnecting with her loved ones. One of the first things Ari did when coming home was give her mother a reality check.

Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) fired Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) before realizing Ari had left her a message earlier, alerting her to the earlier flight home. Gabi didn’t read that message, so Ari told her that she needs to apologize to Javi.

Afterward, expect Gabi and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to celebrate Ari’s birthday.

Gabi Hernandez’s Gut Feeling

While Gabi will be thrilled that her daughter is home, there are a lot of questions. For one thing, where are Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker)? Why did Gabi have to give Ari money for the flight back to Salem?

Even though Ari seems like a nice girl, could she be hiding a secret?

Holly Jonas’ Assist

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the next episode reveal that Holly will help out Doug. This might have to do with Doug telling Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) that he plans on buying her necklace back, then leaving Salem.

However, Julie blew up and told Doug to save his money, she just never wants to see him again. Julie also seemed pretty convinced that there was no way that Doug could ever earn redemption.

Over with the sepsis drug investigation, Steve and Shawn call for back-up. I wonder if John Black (Drake Hogestyn) is involved in this storyline.

John was found and is weak and on the way home. However, in a preview clip, John gets hurt in an explosion at a lab. Could that lab be the same one where the stolen sepsis treatment is currently being held?

With the actor green-lighting John’s exit storyline, could Marlena get the chance to say goodbye while also saving Bo Brady (Peter Reckell)? Anything can happen in soaps, so stay tuned!
