DOOL spoilers for Thursday reveal that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will be thankful that Kate has survived Kristen’s attack. However, when she wakes up, something is very wrong. Dr. Snyder (Michael Lowry) claims that the attack left Kate blind and with memory loss. Jake is thrown by the news, which means Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) was right to be worried.

What Jake doesn’t know is that Kate is perfectly fine. She wants revenge and has convinced Dr. Snyder to play along. This isn’t about keeping Jake from leaving her for Gabi. It’s about making sure Jake loses everything, including his relationships, his new family, his job at DiMera Enterprises, and the respect of everyone in Salem.

As for Kristen, she is in a whole lot of trouble and her plan to avoid consequences isn’t working out. She really thought that Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) would be her ticket out of returning to Statesville Prison. Chloe was Kristen’s leverage but now the hostage has been kidnapped from the original kidnapper! For the second time in one day, Chloe will be held hostage. This time, the captor is Jan Spears (Heather Lindell).

What we do know is that he’s furious with Kristen. He lashes out at the fugitive for attacking Kate and Chloe.
