In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the actor talked about what could be coming next. He confirmed that Tripp tells Claire he is back in Salem for good. The actor also hinted that viewers might see the beginning of a new romance.

“There’s a little bit of happiness and nervousness [on both their parts] because of their past. They’re happy because they did end things on great terms. But it’s also like, ‘Okay, what is this going to start?’”
