He is no longer attending medical school and everyone in Salem thinks he is guilty. Even though Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) believes his son, Tripp feels guilty that it’s causing so much tension with Kayla.

Days of Our Lives spoilers from the new issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal that Adams knows this is a touchy subject. The actor told the magazine,

“He absolutely believes her [Allie] and believes that something terrible happened to her, but he believes that she’s confused about who it was. I know that’s a touchy subject, and I think that’s why he feels the way he does. He knows that something bad happened to her, and he’s not denying that; he’s just saying that it wasn’t him.”
