Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of January 18 reveal that in Salem Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) will have a tense confrontation. Alone inside Charlie’s apartment, Tripp pushes his brother’s buttons. However, intentionally egging him on could just make things worse. Will one of them get hurt or killed? Keep reading to find out.
Facing Charlie Dale
DOOL spoilers reveal that the new issue of Soap Opera Digest confirms that Tripp (Lucas Adams) and Charlie (Mike C. Manning) will face each other. It won’t be at the police station because by the time next week rolls around, Charlie will be a free man again. It happens at Charlie’s apartment and the two men are there alone. Nobody knows that Tripp went back to his brother’s place and that could make what he does even riskier.
DOOL Spoilers: Pushing Buttons
Adams told the publication that Tripp doesn’t back down when he is surprised by Charlie. In fact, he pushes the villain’s buttons. Even though everyone understands why Tripp is so angry, his dad is right. Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) warned his son to just stay away from Charlie for the time being. However, Tripp refused and is furious he spent months with everyone looking at him like he was a monster. He was even punched in the face by John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Tripp Dalton’s Goal
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the whole reason why Tripp intentionally gets under Charlie’s skin is to make him explode. It’s not that he wants to be hurt or killed by Charlie, but wants him to blurt out that he raped Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). However, that doesn’t happen. Oh, Charlie explodes all right, but he claims to be innocent and is being set up to take the fall for Tripp’s crime! It’s almost as if Charlie is starting to believe his lies.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Near-Death Experience
After a tense confrontation, Tripp is ordered to leave the apartment. He does go, but Tripp’s not done with his brother yet. However, he is very lucky to get out of there alive. Charlie is unhinged, unstable, and unpredictable. Just look at what he did to Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who is his mother.
Even though Tripp escapes, it really is a near-death experience. He could have come so close to being drugged, knocked unconscious, or even killed by Charlie. He’s just not someone that he should be confronting, at least not alone. What do you think is going to end up happening with this storyline? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see what happens in the next few weeks.
