Allie (Lindsay Arnold) is enjoying her time with Tripp (Lucas Adams) and has been able to have a sexual relationship with a man who she once thought raped her, but she may also be denying her feelings for Chanel (Raven Bowens) because she’s never felt that way about another woman before. She’s always dated guys and feels she needs to keep it that way.

However, when Tripp gets the guys to tell Allie he loves her in the afterglow, Allie just can’t say it back. She is also taken aback because being in love is a big thing and she is not sure she wants Tripp to be in love with her right now. Her life is too complicated whether she likes the guy or not.

But might Tripp be the safe choice? Lindsay Arnold weighed in on that in the August 31 issue of Soap Opera Digest. “I think Chanel is the opposite of Tripp, which is the more dangerous choice,” she said. “It wouldn’t be a predictable love story for her because it’s completely new to her. The feelings she has for Chanel are not feelings she’s ever had for anyone else. So, I think she’s just a little overwhelmed by her feelings for Chanel.”
