Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Trouble Ahead For Will & Sonny – Will The Father Of Allie’s Baby Show Up Wanting His Child?

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) has just dropped a major bombshell on Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker). As DOOL viewers know, Allie unzipped her oversized hoodie to reveal her pregnant belly, and Eric and Nicole were stunned. Well, Allie’s going to have to do a lot of explaining once the shock over her pregnancy ripples through her family.

But the first people she’ll need to explain her situation to will be to Nicole and Eric, and it looks like Nicole will have a heart-to-heart with Allie later this week, with the topic of the baby’s father coming up. According to DOOL spoilers, Allie will decide to offer her baby up for adoption, and it looks like the adoptive parents may be her big brother Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).

But there’s a part of this picture that will need to be considered carefully, and that’s the issue of the father of Allie’s baby. It seems that at least Nicole will have the baby’s father on her mind, as she quizzes Allie about who the father of her baby is and what his thoughts would be on the birth, the adoption, and so on. Allie might respond that the baby’s father is totally out of the picture and/or that he has no interest in the baby.

But we all know that people can and do change their minds about these things, so it’s always possible that the baby’s father could come looking for Allie. And it’s always possible that Allie won’t be truthful with Nicole or anyone else about who the father really is and what he really wants. It’s a terrible thought, but Will and Sonny could end up adopting the baby, only to have the father come on the scene later and cause trouble.

DOOL Spoilers – Allie Brady’s Bio Dad Could Show Up

Of course, it may not necessarily mean that the adoption would be halted or overturned in the event it was already official. But it could mean that there would be a new person on the scene who wants to have a relationship with a child that Will and Sonny are trying to happily raise. In other words, the bio dad could show up and be a big problem not only for Allie but for Will and Sonny, too.

We should note that Will and Sonny are set to exit canvas this autumn, which suggests that they would be taking the baby with them when they go. That could suggest that the baby’s father won’t be coming back to cause problems, and that Will and Sonny go off as happy new dads with their new son or daughter. Or, it could mean that Will and Sonny need to leave to get away from a problematic bio dad. We’ll have to wait to see.

At any rate, it seems like there’s a good chance for some drama here if the father of Allie’s baby returns at some point, and especially if he sings a different tune from Allie about his wanting to be involved in the baby’s life.
