Playing Matchmaker

Let’s kick off this post with Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard). For a change, Holly isn’t being victimized or attacked at the moment.

In this rare state of calm, Holly and Tate aren’t just thinking about themselves. Holly has already noticed that Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) would be great for Ari Horton (Vico Escorcia).

Ari usually likes bad boys, but Aaron really could be great for her. Even though they have been friends forever, Ari and Aaron are about to experience a new dynamic. 

Babysitting Trey DiMera

Someone needs to look after Trey while Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) gives birth. That responsibility will be handed to Aaron and Ari, who will bond while doing it.

Trey just also happens to be Aaron’s bio son, so this could have some bittersweet moments. It could also show Ari just big of a heart Aaron has, though.

Surprising Date

Days of Our Lives spoilers for Tuesday, August 18 reveal that Aaron and Ari won’t be the only ones making a love connection in Salem.

Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Foster (Miles Anderson) have a date. However, it happens to take an unexpected turn. 

Theo Carver’s Confrontation

At the hospital, Chanel is getting ready to give birth. While Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is there to support his wife, there will also be a confrontation.

Johnny gets confronted by Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews). Theo will rip into Johnny over what’s happened to Lexie. 

Of course, this isn’t Johnny’s fault, but EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feuerriegel). With that being said, Johnny didn’t help matters by keeping secrets.

Theo needs to remember that his mother can be very demanding and insistent. So, it’s not like she gave EJ much of a choice.

JJ Deveraux Reaches  Out

As for JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss), he will reach out to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). The lady isn’t going to be making any deals until Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is safe.

While JJ reaches out, I wonder if Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) could also go rescue Leo.
