Maggie and Summer do not have a good history because she blames Maggie for everything wrong in her life.

Maggie gave Summer up for adoption years ago. It is possible that Summer came to town and got into a confrontation with Maggie, especially over half-sister Sarah and her baby. Did Summer demand money from Maggie? Did Summer upset Maggie to the point that she drove drunk and hit Adrienne and Sarah?
