Days of Our Lives Spoilers Tuesday, May 26: Shocking Bomb Discovery – Steve Lies to Keep Justin from Killing Orpheus – Rafe Gets David Back

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, May 26, tease that Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) deadly plan will be thwarted. After Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) realize a gun has gone missing from the evidence bag, they’ll have a hunch that Justin stole it. Kayla and Steve will be proven right when they barge in on Justin’s showdown with Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

Justin will insist on making Orpheus pay for killing Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans). He obviously wants Orpheus to pay with his life, but what about Justin’s life? Kayla and Steve will push Justin to see that he’d be throwing everything away! Justin would land behind bars over Orpheus’ murder, so Steve and Kayla will work to prevent that.

However, it’ll take Steve offering to shoot Orpheus himself before Justin relinquishes the gun. Of course, Steve won’t actually fire at Orpheus in the interrogation room. He’ll merely knock Orpheus out, so DOOL spoilers say Justin will unleash his wrath.

Fortunately, Kayla will settle Justin down and make him see that they have to let the legal system deal with Orpheus. Vigilante justice isn’t the answer, so Justin will try to accept that. Over with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), she’ll wrestle the gun away from Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse) and check on Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). A shot just rang out at Orpheus’ hideout, but Rafe will assure Hope that he’s all right.

NBC Days Spoilers: Hope Pulls A Gun On Zoey

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will show off his badge, which thankfully caught the bullet. Hope will turn the tables on Zoey by pulling a gun on her next. Zoey will get on the phone and try to figure out what’s going on with Orpheus soon enough. It won’t be long until word spreads about Orpheus’ capture, so the next step is figuring out where Zoey’s son was taken.

As for David Ridgeway (Kyler Ends), he’ll wind up safe in Rafe’s arms once again. Days spoilers say Rafe and Zoey’s custody battle will still happen in the week ahead, but Rafe will focus on this happy reunion for now.

Meanwhile, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) will drop by the townhouse to deliver their engagement news. While they’re there, Nicole and Eric should hear about the dangerous situation John Black (Drake Hogestyn) just went through. Things got pretty scary for Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), but she’s hopeful that all their Orpheus troubles are behind them.

Alas, Marlena and John don’t realize Orpheus planted a bomb underneath the couch. As that bomb inches closer and closer to self-destruction, Hope will show up. There’ll be some warning signs that lead to this bomb’s discovery, so John and Hope will have a chance to get rid of the danger. It sounds like this bomb will be defused shortly before it hits zero on the countdown clock.

Across town, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey) will have a lovely night together.
