DOOL spoilers reveal that Kayla, Marlena and Kate were all given a deadly toxin during their kidnapping ordeal. While John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) thought the bomb was the threat, they were wrong.

Orpheus (George DelHoyo) administered the toxin to the three hostages. Even though the women were saved and Orpheus was arrested, there is supposedly no cure. Of course, fans know that there is still one orchid left that can save Marlena, Kayla and Kate’s lives.

On Tuesday, October 18, Kayla’s situation will become dire. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) have returned to be by Kayla’s bedside. It is also hinted that Kayla could flatline and go into the Afterlife.

Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean Kayla will die. It could be a dream, a ghostly message or perhaps Kayla is brought back to life shortly after flatlining.

On Tuesday, October 18, Kate will be facing the Grim Reaper. Roman proposed to Kate, but unless the cure is administered, Kate could have a funeral instead of a wedding.

It is teased that Kristen will force Brady’s hand. It sounds like Kristen will tell Brady that she has the cure for Marlena’s illness. However, if Brady wants Marlena to live, then he has to break up with Chloe. Faced with an impossible decision, Brady takes Kristen’s deal.

If Marlena resists the cure or tries to fight back, Kristen could threaten the lives of other Salemites. So, it sounds like Kristen will continue scheming and destroying lives. Who will be able to stop her and protect Rachel from the influence?
