Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Tyler Christopher Is Back After Taking Lengthy Break

Tyler Christopher, who’s known as one of the actors behind Stefan DiMera of “Days of Our Lives,” has returned from several months of taking a break from social media. The actor has posted an update about what he’s been up to during these challenging times when everyone has been asked to stay at home to prevent the spread of the virus.
“Times are hard no matter what your circumstances. I say to myself daily; “I am the master of my fate.” “I am the captain of my soul.” Now go live it. William Ernest Henley,” the actor posted on Instagram.
For those who aren’t familiar with the famous quote, it’s from the Book of Verses, Henley’s first volume of poems that he wrote back in 1875 and published in 1888.
Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings – Tyler’s Exit From Days of Our Lives
The actor left his role on “Days of Our Lives” after he decided to stay away from the prying eyes of the public after the incident last fall when he got arrested for public intoxication.
When the news broke about his arrest, many of Tyler’s friends and co-stars reached out to him to offer support. One of them was Nancy Lee Grahn.
The actress tweeted to TMZ, which was one of the first sites that reported about the actor’s status, that Christopher “wasn’t out having ‘birthday fun.’”
“He has a horrible disease. Tyler is at risk of losing his life if he doesn’t get help, maintain treatment & work a program and there’s nothing fun about it. He needs help not exposure,” the actress explained.
Christopher left “Days of Our Lives” earlier this year and Brandon Barash took over his role as Stefan DiMera.

It’s been several months since the last time the public heard from Christopher. With the rest of the public currently staying at home in an effort to stay safe from the virus, Christopher finally broke his silence and revealed where he’s been spending his quarantine time.
It’s been revealed that the actor is spending his time in his childhood home and visiting the grave of his mother who died back in 2016, as per the photo she shared on Instagram.

Aside from “Days of Our Lives,” Tyler Christopher is also known as Nikolas Cassadine on “General Hospital.”

I miss Tyler period, although I think Brandon does great as Stefan/Jake on DOOL and Marcus does great as Nikolas on GH, I worry about Tyler and hope he is okay so it was good to see some communication from him on social media.

Tyler WAS Stefan. Brandon was a total wimp by comparison. Tyler had the smooth, sophisticated cool like Stefano did. Stefano would have been proud to call him son. Brandon, not so much. Please, PLEASE get Tyler back as Stefan. Brandon, as Jake, is a much more believable character, the way the writers have him written. And if you can get Marci Miller back as Abigail, the show will be SO MUCH BETTER.

Tyler Christopher can still come back to Days . He could play Stephan or Jake . It doesn't matter just as long as he comes back. He is a Great actor and Georgous .
I like Branden playing Jake. I like Tyler also as an actor. And I know I'm going to get hate mail back after I say this, but and I really do hope he gets the help for his drinking. But it is hard for me to understand how making the choice of becoming a drug addict or a heavy drinker how it is called a decease. I used to drink a lot to but I never let myself become an alcoholic, I made a decision to stop and I did. Don't get me wrong they do need help to stop. But it was there choice.
